A Minecraft Movie

A mysterious portal pulls four misfits into the Overworld, a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. To get back home, they'll have to master the terrain while embarking on a magical quest with an unexpected crafter named Steve.

This movie was absolutely brutal.  I have always been a kid at heart and have always stayed on top of any kid related crazes.  Minecraft was probably the first one that I was like I am too old for this shit.  It felt like it was generated specifically for young kids with raging A.D.D. and I found it incredibly annoying.  This movie was beyond true to that feeling.   It was just ALOT and incredibly annoying outside of that very specific audience.

I would note recommend anyone bothering with this although parents with younger kids will likely be forced to go watch it.   Poor them.

Snow White

A beautiful girl, Snow White, takes refuge in the forest in the house of seven dwarfs to hide from her stepmother, the wicked Queen. The Queen is jealous because she wants to be known as "the fairest in the land," and Snow White's beauty surpasses her own.

It's crazy how much this movie was doomed by woke and or actors' personal political opinions.   Like it was at the point where Disney just wanted to quietly release it and get it out of the way.  And sadly - I really thought this was easily one of their much better live action remakes since they started doing all of this.   Gal Gadot was definitely miscast as the Queen.  That just didn't really feel right but the rest of the movie was really good and enjoyable.

I would definitely recommend people checking this out.  It is a fun watch and like I said - definitely one of the better Disney remakes that they have done.

Novocaine

When the girl of his dreams gets kidnapped, a man turns his inability to feel pain into an unexpected advantage as he fights a bunch of thugs to get her back.

This movie would have been fine if it was like 40 minutes shorter.  If there was ever a movie that needed to be under 90 minutes it was this one.  Especially after it started so fast and just zoomed though the plot hooks.   But then the pacing just became brutal and the movie became trash because of it.

I wouldn't really recommend anyone checking this out.   You know damn well how all of it is going to play out and it's painful how slow it goes.

The Monkey

When twin brothers find a mysterious wind-up monkey, a series of outrageous deaths tear their family apart. Twenty-five years later, the monkey begins a new killing spree, forcing the estranged siblings to confront the cursed toy.

This movie was a pretty good watch.  Had some really good jump scares, some WTF moments/kills and the monkey was definitely creepy as hell.   It just definitely ran way too long.   Like this was based off a short story and had no business being longer than like an hour for what pretty much equalled Final Destination with a monkey deciding who dies.

I would somewhat recommend horror movies fans checking this out.  It's not a must see at all but a decent watch if you have the time.

A Working Man

Levon Cade left behind a decorated military career in the black ops to live a simple life of working construction. However, when human traffickers kidnap his boss's daughter, his search to bring her home uncovers a world of corruption far greater than he ever could have imagined.

Literally just Jason Stratham 17.   Like the same movie it has been every time.  Only new thing was a scene where he fought someone using construction site materials.  That is pretty much it.

If you like Jason Stratham movies then this is enjoyable.  If you don't then stay far, far away.

Drop

Violet is a widowed mother who goes to an upscale restaurant to meet Henry, her charming and handsome date. However, her pleasant evening soon turns into a living nightmare when she receives phone messages from a mysterious, hooded figure who threatens to kill her young son and sister unless she kills Henry.

This was about as unsuspenseful as a suspense movie could get.   Between there being ZERO reason to care about the characters at all and the fact that the ENTIRE movie was in the trailer there was no reason to watch this movie.   Like none.  I actually got distracted from watching it for 10-15 minutes and when I got back to it it was legit like I had missed absolutely nothing.

This movie was a big ass turd and a total waste of 90 minutes.   I wouldn't recommend anyone bothering with this.
