Grown Ups, starring Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, and David Spade, is a comedy about five friends and former teammates who reunite years later to honor the passing of their childhood basketball coach. With their wives (Salma Hayek, Maria Bello, Maya Rudolph) and kids in tow, they spend the Fourth of July holiday weekend together at the lake house where they celebrated their championship years earlier. Picking up where they left off, they discover why growing older doesn't mean growing up.I was very surprised with how much I enjoyed this movie. I had pretty much grown extremely tired of Adam Sandler's movies and feel that they are pretty turdastic after about 30 minutes of decent laughs. This one lasted throughout the movie and there was great chemistry between the five main guys and their wives were able to hold their own too.
I would recommend people checking this out. Its not a must see by any means, but there are many worse things you could be stuck watching.
