Solo

Through a series of daring escapades, young Han Solo meets his future co-pilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian.

All the advance word about this was that it was good but not great.  That turned out to be extremely accurate.  I don't know if it was released too soon after the last Star Wars movie, if it was too difficult to follow Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool 2 or if the movie just didn't quite hook audiences enough but it just kind of felt like something was missing.  The kid turned out to be pretty good as Han Solo and clearly got better and looked more comfortable as the movie went on.  Donald Glover was perfect as Lando Calrissian and there were some great surprises and shout outs to things from Star Wars past.  It just was missing more of a hook to have you loving every second like you would expect.

I would still recommend peeps checking this out.  It was an enjoyable watch.  It was NOT bad.  It just wasn't great either.
