Soulmates Eric Draven and Shelly Webster are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Draven returns to seek bloody revenge against the killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.
This was a legendarily bad movie. It would have been if it was an original movie. But being such a bad remake of a movie that was so classic to me growing up honestly made it worse. Who was asking for this? Why was it done? Damn you, Hollywood! An actual line in this movie was asking "what is the hardest tea to swallow?" The answer was "reality." Nothing rings truer about how bad this movie was.
I would never recommend anyone watching this. Ever. Go watch the original.
