This year, Christmas with the Whitfields promises to be one they will never forget. All the siblings have come home for the first time in years and they've brought plenty of baggage with them. As the Christmas tree is trimmed and the lights are hung, secrets are revealed and family bonds are tested. As their lives converge, they join together and help each other discover the true meaning of family.
This is your textbook familly holiday drama/comedy. A big family gets together. They all have different sets of issues or problems. They issues/problems magically all get solved within the Christmas holiday because Christmas is so miraculous. As blah as I sound about this movie, I actually enjoyed it. Surprisingly so. I watched the whole thing from beginning to end and actually got excited for the characters at certain parts.
I'd recommend people checking this movie out for the holidays. Its cheesy and very predictable but still makes for an enjoyable holiday watch.
