A young Japanese woman who holds the key to stopping the evil spirit of Kayako, travels to the haunted Chicago apartment from the sequel, to stop the curse of Kayako once and for all and save a family who are currently being haunted by her malicious spirit.
Yes - there was apparantly a Grudge 3. I was just as shocked to find this out. It went direct to DVD . . . . . . . . and understandably so. This was garbage. It was like a home video follow up to The Grudge 2. It attempts to pick up from where that one left off, but the actors are atrocious, the fear shots are also garbage, and the spooky ghosts literally look like they are wearing a gray jumpsuit. If I felt like making The Grudge 4 at home with WW and the kids - it would probably be better than this movie.
I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone . . . . . ever. It is another example of how straight to DVD movies should basically be passed on due to principle alone.
