Superstars Samuel L. Jackson and Bernie Mac are "Soul Men" - the hilarious story of Louis (Samuel L. Jackson) and Floyd (Bernie Mac), a popular singing duo back in the day, who went their separate ways and never spoke again. When the death of their former group leader (John Legend) reunites them and sends them driving cross country for a tribute concert at the legendary Apollo Theatre, they will have only five days to bury the hatchet on a twenty-year-old grudge.
This movie was absolutely horrid. Seriously. I tried as hard as possible to tough it out because this is Bernie Mac's last piece of work. I've always found him funny and figured that I would at least laugh a couple of times during this movie. After the first 30 minutes and NO laughs whatsoever, the plug was pulled on this giant turd because my face was actually starting to hurt from holding the total disgusted look for so long. Its an absolute shame that this is the last thing that Bernie Mac will ever be in.
Stay away from this movie forever. Don't even waste the hour and a half of your life when its on cable. Its truly that bad.
