The Comebacks is a comedy that spoofs the best inspirational sports movies ever made.
Although there were a couple of decent laughs in this movie . . . . which automatically makes it better than most of the recent spoof movies . . . . . these types of movies really need to stop being made. Seriously. When two or three spoof movies come out a year it is beyond overkill. Its almost to the point where the second that three movies come out and reach a high enough pop culture status - a spoof must be made. Again - this movie had some small moments of laughter but was pretty craptastic on the whole.
I wouldn't recommend anyone renting this. Not unless you want to suffer through an hour and half to laugh 3 or 4 times.
