Daddy Day Care finds dads Charlie Hinton and Phil Ryerson (Cuba Gooding Jr., Paul Rae) in another kid-harried adventure as they take over running a summer day camp. Armed with no knowledge of the great outdoors, a broke down facility, and a motley group of campers, it doesn't take long before things get out of control. Up against threats of foreclosure and declining enrollment Charlie is forced to call on his estranged father, Col Buck Hinton (Richard Gant) to help bring the camp together and teach everyone about teamwork, perseverance and the power of forgiveness.
As far as I'm concerned - this movie was one of those lame attempts of Hollywood getting money from parents because their kids will want to see this. It was totally formula, a complete waste of time, and yet another step in the pathetic downward spiral that is the career of Cuba Gooding Jr since winning an academy award. However, the future steppie Stinka loved the movie and in the end I guess that's all that really matters.
I wouldn't recommend anyone older than the age of 10 checking this movie out. If you want to rent it for your kids and run out of the room asap - then you should be fine.
