War

After his partner is brutally murdered by the infamous assassin Rogue (Jet Li), FBI agent Jack Crawford (Jason Statham) vows to find him and personally avenge his partner's death. But Rogue proves untraceable until three years later when he resurfaces to ignite a bloody turf war between Chinese mob leader Chang (John Lone) and Japanese Yakuza boss Shiro (Ryo Ishibashi). Eager to capture Rogue once and for all, Crawford leads his team of crime specialists headlong into the conflict. But Crawford's thirst for vengeance jeopardizes his professional judgment, and as the violence escalates, Crawford finally comes face to face with his enemy to discover that nothing about Rogue or his plan is quite what it seems.

This movie reminded me a lot of those Steven Segal movies from the 80s that you all know and loved. The ones where the cop is out for vengeance and will stop at nothing to get the ultimate bad guy. This movie had lots of kick a$$ action, car chases, fights, and shoot outs. I've never been a really big fan of Jet Li because he is honestly the most emotionless face in all the world. Think about it. Have you ever seen him not have the same stone face? Anywho - he was good in the bad guy role in this movie and Jason Statham is awesome tough guy style in the cop chasing him role.

I'd recommend anyone who is in to the good guy/bad guy action movies to check this out. It is definitely worth the rental fee for those of you who are in to that kind of stuff.
