The Beaver

• Plagued by his own demons, Walter Black was once a successful toy executive and family man who now suffers from depression. No matter what he tries, Walter can't seem to get himself back on track... until a beaver hand puppet enters his life.


• This movie actually started out weird but enjoyable. The whole beaver puppet thing was a little bit out there, but I was actually buying in to it. The family reacting to it and the changes and what not were kind of hooking. Then it kind of fell completely off the tracks, got pretty dark/weird at one point and never really recovered.


• I wouldn't recommend anyone bothering with this movie. I expected something a lot better with Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson involved.
