In the story, Jane Eyre flees Thornfield House, where she works as a governess for wealthy Edward Rochester.   • How many times is this movie going to be remade? I feel like there have been 50 Jane Eyres'. Don't get me wrong, Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender put in great performances and I think both of them have incredibly bright futures. And those performances definitely made the movie watchable, but if you know the story - there is no need for the movie.

  • I would recommend this movie only on the performances, especially Michael Fassbender. The dude is going to be huge. Technically, it's really nothing more than yet another period English piece.
